As a child, I would try to spend all of my time volunteering at the Humane Society for both dogs and cats. I grew up with three dogs, three cats, hairless rats, fish, guinea pigs, and chickens. Later on, during my time in the military, I got to meet many different types of dogs, which led me to fall in love with the many different breeds and personalities. I truly fell in love with watching dogs, when my friend started asking me to watch her two Pitbulls. Once I moved across the country with my husband, we found the need to rescue. That’s how we came across our sweet chihuahua/jack russell terrier mix. Now I spend most of my day fulfilling Batman’s demands for belly rubs! However, Batman also suffers from a severe case of separation anxiety, where he cannot be left alone. So, YES, we are equipped and experienced with creating a schedule where someone is always home, to ensure the best and most efficient care. I am a full time online student and while my husband is a part time online student. We are equipped with alternating schedules that don’t overlap and are typically very flexible, so your dog will always have company. I can promise that your furry companion(s) will be loved and cared for as if they were my own -in other words, Family. If requested or needed, I will happily crate your pup (we have one large crate here) and have additional enclosed spaces to separate dogs if needed! Our home has multiple beds, blankets, bowls, toys, and more to choose from if needed. However, if your pup(s) are making demands, feel free to bring some of their luggage:) after all this will be a luxury stay! My only exception to taking puppies in is if they are potty trained and are in or have completed k9 training. I am happy to work with and continue training cues if needed! I am no professional but am dedicated to keeping these pups lifestyle as consistent as possible.
