My name is Jennifer and I am 29 years old. I live in Pawtucket RI and have a full time job working in the Health Information Management field for the past 9 years. I am a huge animal lover, and have a two year old Irish Terrier at home. I am looking to get some exposure in pet sitting, as I’ve always wanted to work with pets for a living. I have volunteered at the East Providence Animal Shelter in the past, and plan on volunteering at the Attleboro Animal Shelter this June. I have also cared for some of my friends pets in the past while they were on vacation. I am extremely passionate about animal rescue and their well-being. I will be receiving my Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Certification this August. Since I am starting out with limited experience in pet setting, I would like to start slow to monitor my time management skills with this new career path I am pursuing. I will only be available on weeknights and weekends due to my full-time job.

A typical day
Making sure your dog is happy and safe is my biggest priority. With my own pup, I make sure Cooper gets plenty of exercise and is in a setting that promotes positive reinforcement at all times. I understand that each dog is different; therefore I plan on adapting my dog-sitting style to fit your pup’s needs. Whatever the case may be, whether making sure your pet gets plenty of exercise, potty breaks, scheduled meals, medication administration, or just to have a buddy to play with, I will do my very best to satisfy both parties involved (owners and pets.) I recognize that trusting a stranger with your furry family member is not an easy thing to do; so I promise to do my part in communicating all aspects of whatever my job entails, and to treat your family member as if they were my own!
