Pet care experience
I have been in the veterinary industry for over 17 years and am currently a Manager at a local animal ER. I've been in emergency vet med for almost seven years. Prior to that, I worked in general practice and was also a full-time, professional pet sitter for three years. I am comfortable with all breeds of dogs, especially large breeds. I'm also able to administer medications including insulin. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I love taking my German Shepherds, Salem and Delgado on long walks. I am currently working towards my BS Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources. I have five daughters (24, 20, 14, 9, 9) with three of them still living at home. I have two dogs (Salem and Delgado), two cats (Lucifer and Mercury) and a Holland Lop bunny (Pluto).

Jennifer went above and beyond taking care of our household. She sent pictures and kept us up to date, and went out of her way to spend additional time with our older dog who needed some extra love. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants the peace of mind their animals will be loved and cared for, and has a wonderful devotion to her furry clients.
Jennifer takes such good care of our babies. She has watched them overnight and this drop in and even our cats that aren’t sociable come out to see her!

A typical day
Visits can be tailored to your pets' needs, but a typical drop-in visit includes feeding, fresh water, medications, and either a short walk or playtime in the back yard. Vacation services such as bringing in the mail or taking out the trash will also be provided if needed. Dog Walks include a 30 minute walk around your neighborhood and fresh water. And of course, snuggles and scratches are provided at no additional charge :)

Availability
I work days at the ER, usually 7a-4p, so morning visits are usually anywhere from 5:00-6:30a. I will then typically stop by after work or before bedtime (sometimes both!) depending on your pets needs. Weekends are typically open availability.
