Pet care experience
I have always had pets growing up. My first word as a baby was our dogs name. I’ve helped neighbors at times and have house sat multiple times for family friends who have had pets. I absolutely love animals, and dogs have my heart. I believe that my dogs saved my life and I know how hard it is for people to leave their animals or not be able to walk them and I’d like to be able to help with that.

I can’t recommend Jennie enough. I have a 12 year old chihuahua named Yoko. Yoko is a one person girl and Im that person 😊. And now Yoko has a second person, Jennie! Jennie knows how to talk to and handle Yoko in the manner that she feels safe and loved. Jennie has stayed with Yoko a few times now and Yoko knows she’s in good hands! That makes me happy. And Yoko too! Thank you so much Jennie for being a great second mom to Yoko!
Dear Rover.com The first word Jennie said wasn't mommy or daddy, it was Jake our lab/shepherd mix. He was the sweetest dog, the kids spent most of their time with him, playing, napping, even sitting on him. He was amazing. Our family has always had dogs, usually from dog rescues. For years her best friends mom would foster pregnant dogs from the shelter. She would be there caring for them from birth to finding good homes. If she could she would have been there 24/7. Her love of dogs with always be a part of her. She prefers dogs over people. As a manager at Nordstrom working close with co-workers , and the public. The customer service she provided was recognized by upper management, winning awards. Jen is a wonder girl, loving, caring, honest and so much more.

I have a fenced backyard and a Furbo dog camera to check in on my pets while I’m gone. They mean the world to me. I love meeting animals and giving them love and affection. My clients pets will be taken care of just like I take care of my two dogs.

I think it’s super important to know their temperament because that will prep me going in and interacting with the dog! Also how they are with other animals/dogs!
A typical day
Really whatever your dog needs! My Beagle constantly has a tennis ball so I’m used to that. I know the importance of engaging with dogs and doing what they want. Some dogs are super active while others are not! Right now I just moved into my house so I’m still exploring, but we do have this dead end neighborhood by my house that ends up being about a mile long I like to take my dogs there because there isn’t a lot of traffic.

I currently work part time only Tuesdays, Wednesday's, and Thursday's from 4am-12pm. Other than that my schedule is very open I usually just hangout with my two dogs at home with my boyfriend.
