I have been working at an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant for almost 3 years, handling and cleaning after cats, dogs (large and small, nice and not), parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and even some wildlife! I will be attending Stony Brook University's graduate program in Ecology and am looking for opportunities in animal work until I start in August. My ultimate way of work revolves around the safety of me and your pet, prioritizing their comfort for a smooth and happy experience. I always suggest a free-of-charge meet and greet for them to get to know me. My experience as a vet assistant also gives the ability to see when an animal is in medical distress and address these problems. If your pet needs medication, I have experience with giving oral, topical, and injectable medications such as insulin as well. Nail trims too!
