I am lifelong dog lover, retired teacher, and self-employed artist. I’m home during the week and on weekends to provide lots of love and attention to your dog. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind, trained puppies, and cared for senior and special needs dogs. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, administer medications, and bathe their pets. It’s my priority to help your dog feel safe and secure, well-cared-for, and happy.

Jennifer was exceptional! This was the first time we had left our dog with a dog sitter. She went above and beyond to take care of his special needs and gave him such good care and attention as seen through all her wonderful and very much appreciated communications. Her dog Maya is a sweetheart and no doubt also provided fun companionship to Fin. We can not thank her enough for her genuine kindness, attention to detail, and overall wonderful care. Fin was on a doggy vacation staying with Jennifer and Maya. Thank you Jennifer!!
Jennifer was amazing! This is the first time we have left our dogs with anyone other than family. One of our dogs is a senior and needs a lot of extra care. Jennifer gave them both the best care possible and sent updates and photos throughout the entire boarding period. She threw balls in her wonderful, fenced-in yard, brushed them, loved them and even let them sleep with her. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone needing to board their dog. I am grateful to have found her for our future boarding needs.
Jennifer is wonderful! She cared for my 3 dogs for a week while I was out of the country. I felt comfortable the entire time. She gave daily updates with fantastic photos of everyone having fun. I know my crew can be a lot to handle at times and she did a fantastic job! Thanks again, Jennifer!!

I have a spacious fenced yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pup company. I live near some great trails where I regularly bring my dog. With your permission, included with my boardings are walks along these trails. However, dogs larger than 60 lbs. who aren’t leash trained, are usually exercised in my yard, rather than the trails. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but I’m comfortable allowing supervised, free rein in my house and yard.

Since I have a dog of my own, and sometimes watch other dogs, I cannot accept dogs with aggressive tendencies. Also, out of respect for my neighbors, dogs who are problem barkers or howlers, should not book with me. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. The more I know about your pup, the better! In light of the recent canine respiratory illness, if your dog regularly attends doggy daycare, or visits dog parks, I recommend you quarantine them two weeks prior to scheduling with me. I'll have to decline bookings for dogs with contagious diseases, or respiratory illness symptoms. Ensuring the health and safety of the dogs I board, and my own pup, is a top priority.
A typical day
Fun activities include: playtime in my yard, long walks on nearby trails; or if the weather is especially bad, playtime inside and in my spacious basement.

My schedule is perfect to provide the best quality care for your pup. I work from home and can make my own hours. For my dog and our guests, I like to allow for long walks, and lots of playtime in our yard. I'll tailor my routine to meet your pet's needs and energy level; and I'm happy to accommodate elderly dogs or those with limited mobility.
