Professional Care, Family Love
Pet care experience
I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by animals—growing up with pets, fostering rescues, and eventually turning that passion into a career I truly love. I’ve worked in both professional boarding facilities and from my own home, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs—including the anxious, the rowdy, and the reactive. My background in training means I don’t get flustered when “dogs are dogging”—I know how to handle situations calmly, safely, and with care. What makes this more than just a job to me is the connection. I love my clients—both two-legged and four—as if they were friends and family. I take pride in the dirty work, the hard work, and the heart work, because there’s nothing else I’d rather do. I always aim to provide the kind of care I’d want for my own pets: professional, reliable, and full of love. This isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am.
Reviews
Jennifer took excellent care of my pup! She asked questions if she was unsure which I really appreciated bc she could’ve just assumed she knew and messed my baby’s diet up. But instead she asked! My girl really loves visiting Jennifer and her prices are worth her service. Thank you Jennifer, from August and I!

I loved how CJ gravitated toward Jennifer with complete trust from the first meet. Jennifer was on time, administered oral medicine as instructed, and showered us with the best dog photos we could have never captured. What a wonderful DogSitter 🩵🐶
I cannot speak enough about Jennifer! We met Jennifer when we decided we needed someone to help train our boxer, Ivy. Since then, there have been several occasions where Ivy has stayed with Jennifer while we are out of town, or just need someone extra help. Jennifer sends us pictures throughout our dog’s stay so we can see what they are up to, and I honestly am not sure who is having more fun! Jennifer is a wonderful caregiver and trainer. When Ivy is with Jennifer we are confident she is living her best life!
Jen was exceptional with my dogs. There aren’t too many people I can trust to care for my dogs when I’m gone because most people cannot handle them properly. Jen listened to how I needed my pups handled and she did it correctly with care. She even sent me pictures while I was on vacation. I will definitely be taking my dogs back to Jen whenever I go out of town.

My background as a professional dog trainer gives me a strong foundation in dog behavior, body language, and pack dynamics. I didn’t have to learn everything the hard way—I’ve had over a year of hands-on mentorship with some of the top trainers in the area, and I continue to seek their guidance and sharpen my skills. That experience allows me to manage dogs safely and confidently, even in challenging situations. In my home, every dog is respected for who they are. I don’t let emotional attachment cloud my judgment—I honor the animal side of every dog and prioritize safety, structure, and calm energy. I’ve become obsessed with learning to speak their language, and that obsession shows in how I read behavior, prevent conflict, and create a peaceful environment. Dogs are always crated when unsupervised and at night, and I keep a consistent routine of potty breaks, feeding, medication, enrichment, and rest. Group sizes stay small so I can maintain control and meet each dog’s individual needs. This is a safe, secure, and respectful space for dogs to relax, reset, and be understood.

Information Jennifer B. would like to know about your pet
I always appreciate knowing as much as possible about a dog’s routine, personality, and any specific needs ahead of time. This includes things like: • Medical issues or allergies • Feeding schedule and restrictions • Crate habits • Leash behavior • Social preferences (with people and other dogs) • Any history of reactivity, aggression, or anxiety I have experience working with dogs who have behavioral challenges, and I’m happy to offer a complimentary meet and greet before booking to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can provide the right care and structure for your dog.
A typical day
Every day brings something new depending on the dogs in my care, but I always make time for fun and enrichment. That might look like walks around the neighborhood or local park, training games to sharpen their obedience and build confidence, or supervised play in my fenced-in yard. I also enjoy one-on-one time with each dog—whether it’s brushing, belly rubs, or just hanging out together around the house. My goal is to make sure every dog gets physical movement, mental stimulation, and lots of positive interaction tailored to their personality and needs.

Each day starts with potty breaks—puppies and dogs with bladder or health issues go first, followed by the rest. Morning feedings come next, and then the day’s activities vary depending on the group. I rotate between walks, training sessions, grooming, structured play, and relaxing time in my fenced-in yard while I work outside. Dogs are crated anytime I leave the house and again overnight for safety and routine (crate training is something I can help with if needed). I maintain a consistent potty schedule every 2–4 hours and can administer any type of medication as directed. This is what I do every day—and I take pride in keeping things safe, clean, calm, and enjoyable for every dog who stays with me.
