Pets both big and small have been my life! I grew up around horses, dogs, and cats. Then when we moved back to Wisconsin, I had my own herd of dairy cows I cared for and milked by hand. We also had goats and still have beef cattle and horses on the farm. I have always been the “veterinarian” on the farm as I’m able to give injections, treatments, and do basic animal health care. I’ve lost count of how many births of calves I’ve attended and helped with too. I am also regularly my mom’s farm sitter when she goes traveling as she knows I can handle whatever happens! Currently I have 2 mischievous and cuddly cats (an Abyssinian Polydactyl calico and an American Shorthair) who are my pride and joy! The dog in the photo is my sister’s Shiba Inu on a road trip we took.
