I have been around dogs, cats and many other animal “pets” my entire life. There isn’t an animal that I met that didn’t become my friend. My parents were gracious to us kids in letting us keep pretty much any animal we found and brought home. I have taken care of puppies and kittens, the rotten “toddler” years of animals and have owned and taken care of animals until their last breath. My pets have been my due babies and have had enough different situations to probably have an honorary vet degree to some extent. I currently own a senior kitty (15 yrs) a kitten (8 mo) and a chocolate lab (5 yrs). I walk a lot and am always saying hi to the pets before I say hi to the owners. What can I say, I just love and need animals in my life!
