Pet care experience
I was raised on a farm which allowed me to care for a variety of animals since a very young age. Animals around the farm included cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, chickens, cows and pigs. For the past ten years I’ve been trusted to care for cats and dogs of my family and friends. As a pet sitter I enjoy making others’ pets happy, cared for and comfortable while their humans are away. I recently had to say goodbye to my 14 year old male tabby cat. I love all animals and look forward to sharing my passion for pet care with many new clients.

Jennifer was a great car sitter. I booked her for 3 check ins over 2 days. My cat can be really shy around new people, but she seemingly warned up to her right away. My cat is very messy and Jennifer took care to clean up all of Maddie’s messes. She also cleaned the litter bins. Highly recommend her and if I need a cat sitter in the future, Jennifer will be top of my list.
I rebooked with Jennifer after her first time watching my cats (3 visits). I highly recommend Jennifer to watch your pets. She is very thorough in her visits and makes sure to give my kitties lots of attention while she is there. She keeps me informed on how they’re doing and sends me lots of pictures. I will be rebooking with her in the future if she is available :)
Jennifer was absolutely wonderful in terms of our first experience using Rover. She came over for a meet and greet and then sent multiple photos of the walk with our puppy. We have her lined up to care of him again while we are away and feel good about leaving him in such safe hands!

A typical day
When visiting cats I base interaction on individual cats’ needs. If they are friendly I love to give lots of chin scratches and play with toys, while giving shy cats their space and ensuring they have fresh food and water and a clean litter box. I love to stimulate dogs both mentally and physically with their toys and also by allowing them to take in all the smells at the park and around the neighborhood.

I’m currently employed part-time and have extra time for pet sitting in others’ homes. I have a flexible schedule and I’m usually available seven days a week and can accommodate most requests for visits and walks.
