Pet care experience
We have always had animals in our homes and honor animals of all kinds! We are an animal loving family and experienced with horses, dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish! Have an animal not listed? I’d love to help! Caring for animals is not work for me but is treated as recreation and family time. I currently have two Australian Shepherds and 3 horses. I had two additional cats and a lab that sadly passed due to old age. I am missing our zoo family! My animals are well socialized with all types of personalities. They are spoiled with love and attention! I have great outdoor and indoor space, toys, walking paths, access to an awesome dog park, a creek and wooded area on our property, a pond, a puppy pool, access to lakes for the swimmers, and nurturing and engaging supervision. I love to play fetch, hide and seek, and offer games and puzzles for those that need a challenge. Animals enjoy me and I enjoy them! A win win!

Jennifer and her family are absolutely amazing!!! I know when Rosie is there she’s getting her own little mini vacation while I’m out of town. They have a beautiful place for her to run off her energy and plenty of new and exciting things for her to explore! My Rosie does not believe that there’s such a thing as “enough” attention and love so she keeps them all busy!! I couldn’t be happier with finding Jennifer and her family!!!
I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer, her family and their fur babies. Maggie always comes home exhausted from playing and wasn't even sure if she wanted to go home when I picked her up this time. Maggie absolutely loves staying there!

Jennifer and her family were great!!! I feel safe in saying Rosie was spoiled and loved on while she was with them. They have a beautiful home, and plenty of room for her to run and play with their dogs. We’re back together and home and she is sound asleep!!! It’s not often I go where Rosie can’t, but I know now where I want to take her should that time arise again!!

I am serious about safety and trust first and recognize that these are most important! I don’t like to leave my pets with just anyone but rather someone that treats them like their own. I want to do the same. I have a safe and secure environment that is also flexible based on needs. I have open spaces outdoors as well as a fenced in kennel area with toys, a digging space, protection from the elements, and an outdoor dog house. Pets are welcome in all practical areas of our home. Areas can be gated off should a pet need that type of care upon request or for practical reasons. We have 2 extra large, 2 large, and 2 medium kennels indoors for night time sleep, naps, or dogs that feel safer in kennels. I have access to and good relationships with fantastic local veterinarians and are on a texting basis with a few:) I am reliable, trustworthy and committed to honoring the needs of all in the home! Animal friends are a great gift to humans and deserve care and attention for all they give to us.

I want to know as much as you’ll share! I’d especially want to know about what makes them feel safe and secure and if there are any significant needs to pay attention to (fears, allergies, medical needs, boundaries). I also want to know how they work, what they love, their schedule, and any tricks or tips. It’s important to know how they get along with others too.
A typical day
I start off with outside time, food, outside time/exercise, indoor rest/naps, indoor play, outside time, supper, outside time, indoor play, indoor rest, and sleep for the night. I love to play in creative ways utilizing toys or animal brain games. Weather it be a good scratch or snuggle session, reviewing commands, tug o war, hide and seek, cat and mouse, fetch, walks, swimming, or brain games, we are ready to love on the animals:) We have trails in our back yard and are close to lake Wissota and Irvine. I like to frequent the local dog park as well. Not all animals like to play the above games, so let us know how your furry friend likes to play:)

Availability
I work from home and make my own schedules. My two animal loving teenagers would participate in play because they love it! One wants to be a future vet:) Animal care is already built into my daily routine. I would be able to follow the structures and routines you request or can create a structure and routine that makes sense for the group. All get what they need plus some!
