Pet care experience
I just love all animals especially cats and dogs. I have been around animals all my life having had many pets growing up and now as an adult I could not imagine my life without my furry companions. I would love the opportunity to look after your beloved pets whether that be coming in to feed, keep company, walk, stay overnight in your home or mine, etc. Your pet is always treated with the best care and attention, I treat them all as if they are my own. Whatever it is please reach out and I would be happy to help. I always setup a meet and greet first to make sure it is a good fit.

My family met jennifer on the NextDoor app and she quickly answered when I texted her to ask if she could watch my 1 year old German sheppard for 6 days and quickly agreed and the price was very reasonable. Since my dog is still young I requested to meet their lovely family one day then her 2 little sweet dogs a other day and they agreed and came out of their way to make sure everything would work out since my dog hasn't been around people and dogs much. Once we realized everything good we then dropped him off to go on vacation we had daily updates on how he was doing with such cute pictures with their daughter. They took him on lots of walks and went to the dog park and I could tell my puppy LOVED it there. They have a beautiful home that's perfect for dogs and it was overall a perfect experience

Depending on the pet I offer overnight care in my home. Your pet will be treated as my own. I have a medium sized yard for playtime for pups that includes a sandbox and also have some agility equipment as well. I also do daily walks at the conservation area near my house. If preferred I can provide care in your home as well. Please reach out and we can work out any details.

Prior to looking after your pet the following are good to know ahead of time: Daily routine, food intake, allergies, medications, temperament, anything else that you think we should be aware of.
A typical day
A typical day for dogs would include going for walks around different locations such as Mac Johnson conservation area which is only a few mins away from me. We would also spend time out in the backyard playing - I have a sandbox for digging and agility equipment as well. I like to mentally and physically stimulate dogs so other activities include playing fetch, tug, etc. I also like to hide treats around and have the dog find them. I use stuffed kongs, lick mats, etc.

Availability
I work full time but am available before work, during lunch breaks and after 4pm. I am available on weekends as well. My husband runs his own business so is also home a lot throughout the work week and can be available when I'm unable. I also have school age kids that are home from 2:30pm onwards every day.
