I volunteered at an animal shelter walking dogs for about 5 years. I also have been walking dogs on my own for five years. I have some basic training experience and a diploma in canine coaching. I have two dogs and a cat at home. I also have a fenced in back yard. I have some experience with reactive dogs and they are some of my favorites to work with. I know a lot about canine behavior and canine body language. I enjoy doing some training with dogs on walks if they need it. The canine coaching course taught a lot about positive reinforcement training and due to my own training I am unable to train or walk a dog on any aversive training. That includes prong collars, choke chains, shock collars or anything that provides pain or extremely unpleasant effects. I will walk a dog on a gentle leader or halti provided the dog is trained with it. I can help with that.
