I employ multiple baby gates to keep visiting dogs safe and I attach AIR TAGS to the collars of ALL visiting dogs--just in case. For my dog clients, I will walk and/or play with in either the home or yard, ensuring fun, safety and enrichment. While in my home, dogs are allowed on the furniture and they may use my entire house and fully fenced in back yard; they can go in and out as they please. I work from home, so I am almost always here and available! My home is a very mellow environment--work, t.v., reading, treadmill and an occasional trip to the store! For my cat clients, I will play with, medicate and clean up after your kitties. Kitties need to have enrichment activities and exercise.

I would like to have a great understanding of your dog's personality, how your dog acts on leash toward both people and other dogs (i.e. is your dog reactive while on leash, and to whom) as well as any medical issues that your pet has. I would also like to make sure that if I am tasked with walking your dog, that your dog has a proper fitting harness for safety reasons.
A typical day
I really like to get out in to nature and there are a few great trails near my home that are safe with many smells to check out. We can also walk the neighborhood and go out to the pond behind my house. I have lots and lots of dog toys and dogs who like to play. Fetch, ball, frisbee, snuffle mats for treats, a dog pool...I also have a comfortable outdoor couch for resting and lounging on the covered porch. If I am walking or sitting dogs at your home, then I will find cool and interesting things to do in your neighborhood (find a local trail or park) or play in your backyard. How we will arrange dog walking or playtime will depend solely on the preferences of you and your dog!

Availability
I work full-time from my home, so sitting dogs in my home makes perfect sense! My own dogs already have tons of toys and a pool and other dogs seem to really enjoy their time here!
