If you met 10-year-old me I would be telling you dog facts. I have been a lifelong dog lover with a passion for their happiness! My husband David and I lost our beloved 15-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and we love having the energy of another dog (or cat!) in our home for ourselves and our small terrier, Birdie. She is great with dogs and cats, and will be a great companion for your pet!

We live in a dog-friendly home with a fenced in yard. Birdie is my world and I know your pet is yours too! I will treat your pet with the love and care I show my dog. Birdie has Addison’s Disease so I am well-versed in the care of special needs and senior pets. I can administer medication if necessary. I talk to dogs like they’re people and only use positive reinforcement. My favorite thing about Rover is getting to know the unique, smart, lovable personality all pets have and I like to ensure they are as happy and comfortable as possible while their humans are away.

I would like to know how your dog interacts with other dogs (specifically smaller dogs) and whether they require special attention (medication, diet, behavioral). If you keep a no couch policy at your home I’m happy to continue that habit. ***Please ensure your pet is on a flea treatment***
A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood for long walks! We take Birdie for hour long walks each evening, and will gladly include your pet if they’re up to it! We live right by Walnut Creek Park and love to let dogs explore the trails and the creek (dog heaven) if that is something they enjoy! We love keeping our guest pups active with exciting adventures in this awesome city! We have squeaky toys and tennis balls for days to share!
