Cat Mom w/ a Doggy-Dog Best Friend

Pet care experience

Being a crazy cat mom of four at one point in my life, I have learned to differentiate their personalities and strengths as their own and embrace all the great qualities they've brought into my life. When I became a mom to a human baby of my own, i also became a dog mom to our eight year old Blue Heeler. With Ginger's rambunctious nature, I had to learn very quickly how to adapt to her lifestyle. Who would've thought that four cats, a dog, and a baby could all live in harmony? Somehow, we made it happen.

Jennie is a delight. She is of good character. She was on time and reliable. Ella, our son's dog whom we were dog sitting got on well with her.

Information Jennie L. would like to know about your pet

Dogs of all sizes and shapes do not intimidate me, however, it would be best for me to know if there is a medical issue that needs to be addressed. This could mean chronic things such as arthritis or acute issues such as a sprained ankle.

A typical day

My method of approach when it comes to care for my furry friends has always been to stay active. Whether its indoors on a rainy day or outdoors on a bright sunny day, there will always be play involved on a daily basis. Walks are great for both your pet and I, as well as doggy-dog toys for rainy days, to keep everyone active and energized. My favorite places to go are local trails for the breath of fresh air or walks along the Columbia river for a quick swim.

As a stay at home mother, I often times look for things to engage my mind, body, and spirit beyond what goes on at home. Having a new buddy to take over my day will bring me the excitement I am looking for.
