Pet care experience
I am a third year veterinary student at Kansas State University during the year and have gained lots of clinical knowledge and skills in my time there. I have worked in zoos and veterinary clinics for 5 years and have provided care for multiple species of various levels of health during this time. I have owned dogs my whole life and have been caring for friend's and neighbor's dogs since I was 11 as well. I have a dog of my own and even with my strict schedule and heavy course load, I still make sure he gets walked at least three times a day and is let out after no longer than a few hours. I understand how stressful leaving your dog can be and will send you text updates and pictures on our walks, drives, and trips to the dog park!

Jennie was very friendly and great with my puppy, Tucker! She was always there and provided me with multiple updates. All of my instructions were followed and I felt my puppy was safe with Jennie. Tucker and I were very lucky to have her as our first sitter.
I needed an immediate walk and Jennie got there right away! She was super communicative and took lots of fun pics. I appreciated her honesty about it being her first walk with the Rover app, but she was very friendly and professional so I wasn't worried. Thanks Jennie!
Jennie has a passion for animals of all types. She loves dogs and, above all, knows how to care for them. As a vet student, she is aware of a dogs needs and is always prepared with water and treats for dogs on a walk. Jennie is responsible with dog walking etiquette as well, always using a leash and handy with bags for waste. I can say that I would trust my dog with Jennie more than anyone I know. Beyond animal care, she is a kind, happy, and responsible woman who is a joy to be around.
