Pet care experience
I've had dogs my entire life and have had my own dogs for 8 years now. One I've had since he was a puppy and the other was a rescue with an abused background. I am well versed in dog body language and have had many friends tell me I should be a dog trainer after helping them with their dog's behavioral issues. I also rehabilitated my rescue dog from very fearful and nipping at people to a very sweet and well adjusted dog. Hoping to use this passion to help local pets in a small way! Note: I have had somewhat severe allergic reactions to Labrador retrievers and lab mixes with the same coat, so unfortunately I would not be able to board these kinds of dogs, but can still offer walking and potty services.

Jenni has done a fantastic job watching my pets in the past. I have three dogs and had an elderly guinea pig. She is able to relate to each animal and understand what they need and what they’re trying to tell her, no matter the species. She is very knowledgable and follows care instructions perfectly, asking questions if something isn’t clear (or we didn’t provide enough veggie and she wants to get the right kind!)

Information Jenni V. would like to know about your pet
Dog must be FULLY potty trained in all situations/locations other than dogs under 1 year old with the puppy rate (no exceptions due to prior issues). Pee pad trained is NOT acceptable. Let me know if your dog has any special needs or medications. Also let me know if they have any behavioral issues to know about ahead of time. Looking for dogs that are up to date on all shots and medications. I do have a ferret in the home who is caged when unsupervised, but if you have a dog with a very high prey drive that you think could be an issue let me know on that as well.
A typical day
Weather dependent we would go for a daily walk and run in the back yard, and fetch or tug if that is something your pet enjoys. On nicer days we could go on some hiking adventures or walking on paved trails by the water with all the good smells.

Availability
I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday during the day, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Would have flexibility for lunch time on Mondays and Fridays.
