Pet care experience
👋 hello dog lovers! 🐕 Main points: • Experienced boarder & sitter • Can provide lots of exercise/walkies • I'm at home for 95%+ of the time • Rover 5 ☆ sitter status • Response time average is ten minutes • Many repeat Rover users, 10 & counting ▪ Safe & pooch friendly property. CCTVs ▪ One dog only policy. Care for your dog and your dog alone • Can usually pick up / drop off, if reasonably near, or meet halfway • Low price - not because the care is limited or compromised - but mainly because I love the company of a dog and realise boarding out dogs is costly, especially if you're paying for a holiday too. Big reduction for longer stays.

Jenner was amazing throughout the time that he spent with our Shiba Inu, Keiko. While she can be very shy around strangers and she warms up to new people really slowly - Jenner was patient and made her adjustment period really comfortable. He offered to meet in advance to get acquainted which was a nice gesture as well. He sent regular updates every day - and it was brilliant to see what a great time they were having going on walks around London. I could see how she warmed up to Jenner and they really bonded, as she started to be super relaxed and playful around him after a couple of days. I’m grateful to have found such a caring and responsible person to take care of Keiko while we’re away, and I’ll be sure to turn to Jenner again when needed.
This is Latte’s first home boarding experience, and she stayed a night with Jenner before an upcoming longer stay. Jenner took great care of Latte and sent regular updates and photos, he took the time to understand Latte’s routines and behaviour, things to be aware of to ensure safety and best experience for both sides. And Latte seems to have a wonderful time!
First time using Rover and our walker Jenner. We are so happy with how he has looked after our 3 pooches. He kept us informed of how they were and took some lovely photos whilst out. We haven't used anything like Rover before but I'd highly recommend the service. It was peace of mind for us whilst we had to take a trip for the day without our dogs. Thank you again Jenner. I hope we can book you again.
Jenner was great with our reactive and noise sensitive Peggy, we felt she was in safe hands and got lots of updates. She was very chilled when we came home so I know she had a great time! Thanks Jenner

Have cared for, boarded many fur buddies down the years...(see my reviews). Experience of many breeds, types. I've boarded a 1kg Terrier and have boarded a 44kg Labrador (for 6 weeks). I have a puppy crate here at home that can be used if necessary H51cm W60cm, D44cm. Always like to meet and greet first and may travel to meet you, meet half way or we can meet here in nearby very dog friendly Gladstone Park. I live close to Willesden Green tube station. NEW** From Jan 2024 I have to ask about whether your dog is quite vocal (if noise outside for instance or if left alone). I can't board a very vocal dog. For similar reasons I'm reluctant to take large dogs (over 20kg) flat isn't a large one. It's a studio type flat with separate small kitchen and bathroom. Over last two years, I have cared for/boarded: Chesapeake Bay Retriever, French Bulldog x 3, Golden Retriever, Italian Greyhound, Siberian Husky x 3, Labrador x 2, Kyi Leo, Spaniel, Sarplaninac, Labradoodle, Lurcher, Chihuahua x 2, Staffie/Rottweiler mix, Terrier, New Zealand Huntaway, Pug, Beagle, Mixed (indeterminate breed) x 2, Cocker Spaniel, English Setter, Irish Setter, Parson Russell Terrier, Pomeranian, Shiba Inu x 2, Dachshund, Springer Spaniel, Jack Russell, Tibetan Spaniel, Bichon Friese, Shi Tzu Toy poodle, German Shepherd, Whippet... I always am alert in parks. I will scan way into distance for potential trouble. If there is, for instance, a dog like a Staff; a American Bulldog; Pit Bull terriers etc even if on the lead I will immediately leave and take no chances! I will happily send two or three messages a day to you with videos and pictures (or as instructed). Showers are free - no charge.

Is it before walkies or after? Do they enjoy particular things, like games, toys, tricks? Any allergies, dislikes? Does he like swimming? Will she take a shower/bath? Thank you p.s During the booking at least, I would advise dog owners to enable Rover notifications on your phone so that messages are received immediately.

NB I will be with your dog 95% or more of the time, i.e not going to be left alone much, if at all. There's been a few dogs who I've boarded for a few days or more who have NEVER been left home alone.

I have good rapport with dogs. I know the fundamentals of dog caring...and more! Am affectionate and playful but I realise the safety and security aspects fully. I had, as my friend, for nearly 15 years a big Labradoodle - he was virtually a Labrador. We had great times together. I learnt a lot about dog care during this time. I miss him a lot. I will consult with you on regime/schedule but standard day usually will be : • Get up and out first thing, greetings...breakfast, water, grooming. Head out between 07.30 to 09.00 to the park usually. Extended walkies, and lots of play, ball chase - if appropriate. We'll go to nearby Gladstone Park, Brondesbury Park, Paddington Recreation Ground or Hampstead Heath or to an enclosed little park in Marylebone. Back home, play indoors...then rest. Afternoon walkie sometime between 15.00 to 17.00 for 20-30 mins. Meal, if appropriate/necessary, snack at least. Play: tug/catch ball indoors. Evening walk sometime between 8pm to 10pm. 25-40mins. Back to home, wipe down and evening meal and bed down. Welcome to jump onto bed & sleep. Most dogs I've looked after, have done. Happy to take out doggy for a quick walk / pee in middle of night 3am/4am if instructed or required. Three of the above dog spaces are enclosed and safe however ofc I will be very careful with dogs off the lead, if your dog doesn't have good recall he or she will not be allowed off lead (or if instructed never to let off lead). I always, always clean doggies paws EVERY time we re-enter flat. So always a clean house! I do work all from home so will be with your dog 95% or more of the time, i.e not going to be left alone much, if at all. There's been a few dogs who I've boarded for a few days or more who have NEVER been left home alone.
