I worked at a vet's office for a while during college and have some skill training dogs; I know what dogs and cats need to be healthy and happy.

I never have to worry about our fur baby when Jenna cares for her. Our sweet Bella is 10 years old and acts like a puppy when she sees Jenna. We are thankful for all the snuggles and belly rubs she gives to Bella.

I know the importance of regular exercise and playtime for pets of any breed or age. I have taken care of cats and dogs at friend's houses, where I also watered plants and kept the house looking nice. Notes and phone calls kept me up to date on any medicines or special diets, and I am not afraid to take a pet to the vet if necessary.

I need to know how the dog responds to people (do they prefer females over males?), other dogs (are they territorial?), and cats (will they chase a cat if they see one?). Medical conditions or recent bouts of sickness are also critical for me to know so that I can take the best care of them as possible.
A typical day
Some dogs prefer certain activities, like fetch or tug on a rope. I like to do things that encourage movement but is also something the dog prefers. If a dog can play well with others, I like taking them to local dog parks.

I have a 9-5 work schedule, but I am free to walk, bathe, feed, and/or play outside of those hours. Overnight stays are no problem for me!
