Thank you for considering our House of Fluff for your dogs' home away from home! My name is Jenna, and I'm a professor and professional writer. My husband, Zach, recently started working in banking after 10 years of service as a Navy helicopter pilot. Five years ago, a fluffy Pomeranian named Lemon completed our little family. Lemon is an emotional support animal who enjoys playing with gentle, small to medium sized dogs. On most days, I work from my home office with Lemon snuggled by my side. We're happy and eager to share the love and fun of our dog-centered home life with your pooch or pooches! As deeply devoted and protective dog parents of a delicate, high-maintenance fluffball, we know how unsettling it can be to leave your doggies behind when you travel or work. In addition to the promise that we'll treat your pups like family, some of the special features of our House of Fluff that may put you at ease include: -My flexible, mostly work-from-home schedule -Our safe, walkable, and dog-friendly neighborhood located between Talmadge and College West -A fully fenced-in backyard, which alternates between grass and dirt depending on the season and the amount of rainfall. We do not have a doggy door; dogs are fully supervised while outdoors. -A child-free, single-story house -Comfy couches that are easily accessible with special doggy stairs -Small dog bed & blanket, small dog crate, small dog stroller, and adjustable play-pen available on site -Dozens and dozens of dog toys!! -(Overnight) guests can expect to enjoy at least two neighborhood walks a day. We're also in close driving distance to a couple of dog parks with separate play areas for large and small dogs, as well as to several dog-friendly cafes, stores, and restaurants. Our only major stipulation is that prospective guest pups and Lemon get along nicely. We also strongly prefer house-trained dogs, but would consider making exceptions for puppies on a case-by-case basis. We look forward to meeting you and your pups!
