Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jenna and I'm a recent grad of SUNY New Paltz. I have a long history of taking care of and walking dogs for family, friends, and colleagues, along with some professional dog walking experience. I've walked all sizes of dogs and even a deaf dog (his name was Rex, what a good boy!) I also have extensive knowledge of cats, having lived with them for the past four years! I have experience with reptiles and small animals as well (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.) Animals seem to trust me very quickly because I listen and observe their behavior. I love animals with a passion and do everything I can to make sure they are happy and healthy. Your pets will get all the love they need from me!!

I highly recommend Jenna! She is a responsible, kind, caring, positive, down to earth person who took care of our elderly Shnoodle, Buffy, as if she were her own. We received plenty of updates, and photos of Buffy , and even our quite feisty parrot, LuLu looking happy and well cared for. We relaxed and enjoyed our vacation all the more knowing our pets were in such good hands. It takes alot to trust beloved pets and a whole house full of treasured possessions to a virtual stranger, but as soon as we met Jenna, we knew we could trust her with all of it! Definitely will book with Jenna again!
Jenna was absolutely great with our cat, Reese. She craves play time and Jenna made sure to spend time each visit entertaining her with her favorite toys. Reese is on a special diet, which Jenna made sure to keep up with. Jenna also sent pictures of Reese each visit, which was so great to have while away.
Jenna was great! She watched my three dogs while I was out of town. She made me feel at ease with leaving them for the first time. She was especially good with my senior dog, ensuring that he got his medication and ate. She played with the younger two until they were too tired to play anymore. I will definitely be booking Jenna again in the future!
Jenna took great care of my senior shihtzu and 2 cats while I was out of town for a week. She was very attentive to my dogs health care needs, administering his heart medication 2x daily and cooking fresh food for him as needed. She maintained daily communication with me with messages and photos. I highly recommend Jenna for all of your cat and dogs needs!

I treat all animals with the same respect I'd give to a person, making sure they are comfortable and all needs are met. If an animal needs some space, I make sure to not overcrowd them. If they need to play, I'll run around with them until they're done! And I'll follow all care instructions to a tee so the animal doesn't have any added stress due to changes in routine.
Information Jenna S. would like to know about your pet
I'd really love to know their temperament around strangers, not only for my safety but so I know their limits in terms of other people on the street. I'd also like to know if they are reactionary, and what triggers those reactions (people, dogs, birds, etc.) so I can best avoid them to minimize stress. If they have any treats they get after walks, or other rituals, I'd love to know so I can keep their routine as close to how it would be if you were walking your pup!
A typical day
I love to make sure dogs are happy and a little tired after a walk outside. When walking around your neighborhood, I'll let them guide me to where they want to go (barring any unsafe areas of course!). This way it is the most mentally stimulating for them. I will play games with them however they like it, tug of war, fetch, etc.! My favorite thing to see is a pup after a walk/play-sesh lie down and let out a big sigh, ready for a nap (or for some pets!)

I'm working part time in a grooming salon now! My mornings/afternoons will periodically be taken up! So if your pet is used to you being out of the house for work in the day, that's pretty much my schedule!
