I grew up in a dog family, on a big piece of land. This meant most days were filled with hikes in the woods, with a wily pack of canines. I've had one dog in my adult life, a special boy with needs that took a lot of work to get though. It's been a few years since he's been around, but I still find myself going for hikes and neighborhood walks to the park just because I like to be outside. I work at a garden in deep SE Portland; most often I am working from home (mid day adventures?!), but would be happy to bring your dog to work with me when I go in. Currently I live in an apartment off of Glisan street in NE Portland. Oregon Park is right in my backyard, laurelhurst Park is five blocks away and there is a fenced in green space adjacent to a school four blocks away- plenty of options for a variety of needs! I am also always packing up the car to go on adventures, cross town or on the coast. This would work well for a young energetic pup, or for an older, slower pace. Once a dog person always a dog person!
