Hi, I'm Jenna (she/her) and I love hanging out with people's pets! I have a heart for spoiling backyard chickens with fresh treats too. LGBTQIA friendly looking for the same. I've been on Rover since Spring 2022 and have over a decade of pet/house/farm sitting for family, friends and neighbors. My work experience includes customer service at a food co-op, cupcake baker, wood floor refinisher, lyft driver, guesthouse caretaker and gardener. I am fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid and still mask indoors in groups/public settings.

Every time Jenna stays with our dog it’s a positive experience! Our dog is happy, our house is clean, and we have had many pictures and updates while we’ve been away. Jenna is a reliable and professional dog sitter!
I hesitate to leave a review for Jenna for fear that everyone on Rover will find out how incredible she is and start booking her! :) She has taken care of our multiple kitty household several times while we've gone on vacation, and I can't say enough positive about her. Our kitties are a bunch of spoiled rotten felines, so our pet sitting instructions are positively ridiculous, but Jenna is kind enough to act like we aren't complete lunatics. She takes such good care of our brood, and sends us daily updates and photos to let us know that everyone is fine. We worry while we are gone, and her wonderful care helps put our minds at ease so we can enjoy our vacations. Jenna leaves our house absolutely spotless...if the kitties weren't so happy and healthy when we returned, I'd wonder if she was actually here LOL. Seriously, you'd be lucky to get Jenna to take care of your precious furry ones...she is an absolute gem. Thank you, Jenna...we are so lucky to have you!!!
Jenna is the BEST!! She stayed with our cat Mose, and was incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout her visit. She sent me photos everyday, with updates about how he was doing. It was very clear how much she cared and was enjoying spending time with him. We were gone for an extended period and she even helped get the house ready for the next cat sitter. I only have the best things to say- truly a delightful experience ?
Jenna was wonderful! She took great care of our cat and 2 bunnies. I loved receiving daily pictures and hearing about how they were doing. Will definitely be contacting her the next time we go out of town.

Sometimes I have last minute availability, so keep me in mind for spontaneous trips. The earliest I can start a sit is 7 AM and the latest I can stay on the last night is 7 PM. Otherwise I will be at your home most of the day and all night.

Let me know your pet's expected routine and personality: what times they wake up/eat/go to sleep, how much attention they enjoy, medications needed, playtime, walks and yard time, commands they respond to, anxiety level, etc. I can provide potty breaks every 3-8 hours. I get along best with cats and low energy dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!
A typical day
For cats, we can play with their favorite toys, slow blink at each other, get some cuddles in and look outside together. For dogs, I can give one 20 minute walk daily as weather allows, if they have access to a yard we can play there, and we'll chill together indoors. For all pets, I'll make sure to give them attention, treats and scritches.

Availability
I have experience caring for many cats (indoor and out), hounds, pugs, toy poodles, cockapoos, mastiffs, terriers, beagles, chihuahuas, chow chows, pit bulls, dachshunds, min-pins and more. I've cared for house plants/outdoor gardens, horses, alpacas, turtles, fish, rats and backyard chickens/ducks, so if you have other critters to care for, I'm in. Your fur babies can expect to hang out a lot watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer together and I'll be bringing some of my house plants along too :D I unfortunately do not have the experience to safely work with reactive dogs, dogs who bite, are very protective, aggressive towards people or other dogs or are unpredictable around new people due to anxiety/etc. I'm unable to care for animals in diapers at this time. I do have experience administering insulin and meds to dogs and cats.
