Pet care experience
My partner - Justin - and I have both grown up with dogs our entire lives and we are dying to have one of our own now but in the meantime to fill the voids in our hearts we spend our days pet sitting for various friends and family. We have lots of experience with all sizes of dogs and do not shy away from the large breeds. Thru Rover we have watched dogs with the following needs without issue: -multiple meds throughout the day -training e-collar & commands to be practiced/used -food aggression -leash aggression -senior dogs & puppies as young as 10 weeks -long stays (3weeks) All the dogs from Rover we have had so far have been amazing and we are so excited we signed up for this service. We love getting repeat stays and filling our camera rolls with all the cute pics of your dog. This has been the perfect solution to the missing link in our lives. Looking forward to hearing from you! Jenna treated Goose like her own!
Jenna is the absolute best! Piper literally ran to her when we dropped her off. She sent so many updates and took the best care of our baby. Can't wait to use her again :)

We would of course follow any instructions left by owners on care preferences - on top of that we would be showing a lot of love and cuddles. If pets are nervous at all we usually just let them explore the apartment and try not to give them too much attention. We have learned this is the fastest way for them to calm down and choose to come to us once they are ready. We are on the top floor of an apartment building so your pup needs to be okay with elevator rides!

Mannerisms - how they like to be greeted, should we ignore certain behaviors, what commands do they know, how are their leash manners, are they reactive to other dogs in public, can they be trusted with the windows down in the car, and anything you think would be important to tell us!
A typical day
Long walks thru neighborhoods or parks around the cap hill/cherry creek area, any local dog park or a trip to Chatfield Dog Park in Chatfield State Park (if owner is comfortable with dog parks). Full of belly rubs, cuddles, and being told they are good boy/girl.

Availability
I work from home so I am available to let your pup out regularly. We only ask that your pet is able to stay home alone without destructive behavior if they do not have a crate. We would not leave your pup alone for long but in the event we go grocery shopping, to the gym, etc.
