I grew up around animals and have a dog myself. I'm always happy to sit for good pups, and have enjoyed doing so for friends and family for the last few years.

I have been friends with Jenna for 3 years. In addition to witnessing her being an incredible dog mom to her own fur baby, she has babysat my 3 cats. Jenna is incredibly thoughtful (I'm not sure how she remembers all the little details that I tell her and then follows up on those same stories to see how I or my pets are doing), trustworthy, organized, and kind. She is 100% a caring animal person--it helps that she grew up on a dairy farm. She is also prompt at responding and is very reliable. You will not regret hiring Jenna to care for your pet. I know she will treat your pet and your home as she would her own.

My dog Arlo is at home with us, he's a neutered male, and he gets along well with other dogs. I am able to walk dogs either from your house or mine. I am able to crate boarded dogs as needed, and can adhere to strict dietary schedules as needed.

Ahead of time I like to know your dog's general schedule (for walks, eating, and bathroom breaks), the amount of treats you do or do not want your dog to receive, and if your dog has any special particularities. For instance, if your dog does not like anyone walking behind them while they eat, if your dog is a grazer or a gobbler, and whether your dog barks at other dogs on walks. Also, I would like to know if your dog has special dietary needs or habits that I should keep in mind.
A typical day
I run with my dog every morning (but would only do so with yours if you asked), and I typically provide 3 walks per day. One of those walks is a long walk to burn off some puppy and doggo energy. We enjoy going around the neighborhood, or to local parks and hiking trails if there is time. My theory is exercise helps most dogs be well behaved, and we are happy to provide it!

My husband and I work in Madison during the week, but we are home many weekends and happy to dog sit for your dog. We give lots of good scratches and walks!
