Hello! I’m Jenna. I’ve been taking care of animals from a very young age. I’ve had quite a few pets growing up, raising a Silky Terrier and a Poodle from puppyhood, a British Shorthair from kittenhood, and fostering a few other cats and dogs of varying-sized breeds. I’m from the NYC metro area but spent some time in Los Angeles where I started providing services on Rover, caring for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. I’m back in the city, based in Bushwick, and I’m a dog mom myself! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters throughout my life, and have had extensive experience caring for animals with special needs. When my oldest dog was diagnosed with diabetes, I quickly found ways to make medications and dietary restrictions part of the norm. One of my childhood dogs had struggled with luxating patella her whole life, so I have learned how to handle mobility issues as well. I believe the most important part of pet care is establishing a sense of connection with the pet. It’s also the most rewarding aspect by far. I always aim to make my services fun for the pets.
