I've had pets in my home for as long as I can remember, from fish, to rabbits, to cats, to dogs. I've also looked after pets of friends and family while they were out of town. Now, I spend my time and energy trying new things with my dog, Wilson. We have completed a therapy certification and a couple of agility courses. I am a teacher who is looking for a rewarding way to spend my summer vacation months.

There are many philosophies on dog walking. I have tried a variety to find what works best for me and my dog. We walk on a short leash and try to keep it loose, even if that means my dog is a little ahead of me. Productive sniffing is encouraged but not to an excess. I am open to adjusting my walking habits based on the needs of your pup. I understand that routine and consistency are important!

A typical day
Enrichment games are used a couple of times a week in our house to keep our dog mentally stimulated and happy. Aside from games, we are used to 3 walks a day (one usually at a park or trail) and playing fetch in the backyard (fully fenced).

I am a teacher that is off from June through mid-August. I am available to walk your dog in the morning or afternoon during the week.
