Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and got my first dog of my own when I was 10. Currently, I have a 12 month old German Shepherd / Lab mix who is about 75 pounds and very sweet! I’ve been training him since he was 8 weeks old, and since getting him I have done a lot of research on training, dog behavior, and dog body language. I absolutely love training my pup and work with him every day on tricks, manners, and walks.

Jenna was fantastic. She was very accommodating and helpful setting up a last minute booking. We first had a meet and greet with her sweet puppy and I could tell our dog was going to have a good time. She was attentive and caring and we felt at ease leaving our dog with her for the weekend. Jenna does an amazing job with her dog and is great when watching mine! She is very caring for dogs and loves to play with and train dogs. Her experience with her puppy and family/friends dogs makes her a great pet sitter!

My dog is very playful and friendly toward other dogs. He is also crate and place trained in case dogs need to be separated for any reason. I do not have a fenced in yard but my apartment complex has a fenced in dog park that I take my pup to on occasion, as well as a fenced tennis court that my pup enjoys playing in. Dogs will never be allowed off leash unless in a completely fenced in area. We also have a trail in my community that runs about 3 miles long, and has great surroundings for enrichment!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I need to be aware of. I would also like to know if you have specific things you’d like your dog to do while with me (sit before going outside, wait before eating, not allowed on furniture, etc.).
A typical day
I love to play mentally and physically stimulating games with dogs! Fetch is a favorite for my pup and we incorporate his obedience commands into the game as well. I also like to do sniffing games inside, short training sessions, and I gave puzzles and enrichment toys available as well. My community has a trail around a pond and in the woods that runs about 3 miles in the short loop and 6 miles in the long loop. I also love to take my dog to Country Park for walks!

Availability
I currently work park time so I gave plenty of time to care for your pets! I am away from home a total of 10 hours a week, never more than 4.5 hours at a time. When I am home, caring for my pet is all I do, so I’d love to help care for yours too!
