Pet care experience
I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes (my own dog is big and can give a good pull/jump so you can be at ease that I can handle a big, high-energy dog). I used to walk full-time for Rover for 6 months when I first moved to NYC, so I am familiar with dog walking in the city and am a trusted Rover Walker! I have been trusted countless times by friends, family, and UWS residents to care for their precious pups. Also, my family has ALWAYS been a dog family growing up. There has not been a time in my life where we went without a dog, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. From growing up with 3 different chocolate labs, to then making the move to become a dog mom 4 years ago, my experience with dogs ranges widely and extensively!

Jenna was great with my dog Kiwi! Kiwi is really nervous around new people and Jenna approached her very slowly and calmly, giving her treats and sitting down at her level. Jenna is also very communicative and responsible, I definitely will be using her again!

My two loveable yet sometimes stubborn Dachshunds were head over heels when they first met Jenna. Jenna is very easy going and has a great energy and very personable as well. I love getting out and exploring the city so I would be more than happy to have your dog join me on these excursions (with your permission, I could have my dog come for some socialization & play time) or I would HAPPILY give your dog that 1 on 1 quality time for these excursions. Aside from exploring the city, I am always ready for some great dog snuggles and indoor playtime too. When caring for your dog my main priority is to make them feel safe, loved and cared for. I will treat them with as much love & affection as my own! My apartment is rather big for a New York City apartment, with a finished basement i leave my dog to hangout in when I am not home (I have a furbo dog camera for my own peace of mind) & we have a little backyard area as well!

A typical day
I will keep your dog entertained and stimulated both physically and mentally. I am a big advocate for mental stimulation in dogs, whether it’s by simple training commands or enrichment toys. I live a block away from Central Park and LOVE to use this as my daily walking/running spot for my own dog!

Availability
I work hybrid 9-5 for a nonprofit. I am around every week day before 8 am and after 6 pm. Willing to do all times on weekends as long as I am around. Always happy to do a last minute walk or a pop in! If I can have my dog with me, also happy to do in house stays (pending the dogs get along in a meet & greet first!)
