Pet care experience
I have a dog of my own, along with a cat, that are my world and cared for dearly. I have been volunteering at dog shelters in a couple locations for 4 years, but started caring for dogs since I was young. I am very active and love to take dogs for walks or runs. At my apartment I do have a dog park and a path to walk other dogs. I do not mind caring for puppies as well, since I’ve raised 3 puppies with others. I do have experience with bathing and taking of care of dogs. I have a passion for animals and will always treat animals as if they were my own.

Jenna is my daughter, so I can assure you that Jenna has ALWAYS had a love for her furry friends since she was a little girl. Her first dog she found on the softball field when she was 9 years old. Even while away at college, her stress reliever was volunteering at their local animal shelter on a weekly basis. She is currently still a college student working on another degree. She also is a talented photographer that could be another plus for this job. I wish that I could attach some photos that would show her love for dogs along with a sample of her dog photography! I think she would be a perfect fit for Rover.com!

I treat my client’s pets as if they were my own. I definitely respect any routine or rules people have with their dogs, as I would my own animals. Every animal has their own environment and I would never want to take them outside of the routine if they weren’t comfortable.
Information Jenna H. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences, but would like to know what breeds on gender of dogs others work well with and anything that frightens certain dogs. I would love to know about their environment and how they react to certain people or animals, just their basic routine. Food preferences would be awesome to know as well, as I know certain dogs can be picky eaters. Also if they have any certain treats or have anything special that you feel I should take on walks with me.
A typical day
I am able to walk dogs in my neighborhood as well as a local park nearby where they have multiple trails to take dogs for walks. I love paths and have them all over where I live. Of course if they have special toys they love to play with and if they love car rides I would love to do those things and spend time with them.

Availability
I do work full-time as a graphic designer, but only currently go into the office once a week. I work from home most of the time. I will occasionally go in twice a week, but am flexible all other days. Weekends are busy but if knowing in advance I can be available.
