Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Jenna and I LOVE all things pets. Show me a dog, big or small, slobbery or dainty, shy or outgoing, and we will fall in love and the rest will be history. No professional pet sitting experience here, but a lot of personal experience with family and friends allowing me to pet-sit for their furry treasures, as well as family-owned dogs throughout my life. My friends and their pets lovingly refer to me as "Aunt Jenna" *swoon*. I offer dog-walking services, drop-in services during the day for play time and potty breaks, and overnight house sitting when available. I am available during the early morning hours prior to 9a on all days of the week and weekend with the exception of Thursdays and Fridays. My evening hours vary depending upon the day of the week. My availability opens up more on the weekends and I have more flexibility. Am I doing this for a side gig? Sure, but I really just want to meet your dogs ;-)

Jenna has been around dogs most of her life (as a pet owner and pet sitter). She possesses the passion and responsibility required in the presence of domesticated dogs. I would highly recommend her as a dog caregiver. As an owner of a rescue dog, along with previous dog ownership, I recognize the responsibility required to be a dog owner and dog sitter. Charlotte ( a Staffordshire American pitbull terrier) is my prized companion and has developed a loving bond with both my children. Jenna loves her boop and Charlotte loves her sister. That is called family.
Hi! I’m Brian and Jenna’s older brother. Our family had Lexi, our first dog, for 15 wonderful years. Jenna and Lexi has such a close bond. Our dog trusted Jenna at all lengths, even enough to clip her nails and drain a cyst (on the side of her head), with a syringe. She would stay so still as Jenna gently tended to our pup. Since Lexi’s passing Jenna still extends her love and joy for dogs. She frequently dog sits her friends dog (Dewey) and Jenna is basically her second mother. My sister has my mother’s kind heart and it shows when she is around dogs. She’s extremely responsible with dog proofing her home and making sure any pup in her house is safe, comfortable and is given plenty of play time! Along with helping her friends dog sit, she is an awesome sister to our fathers dog,Charlotte, and my dog, Roxie.
Jenna has been watching/walking my dog for over 4 years now. She is so loving and caring to animals. She is dependable and timely as well. I highly recommend her!

I currently do not take pets into my own home, due to restrictions with my lease. However, I am happy to accommodate whatever needs your pet(s) may have in the comfort of your/their home. With regard to overnight care, I do not feel comfortable staying overnight in the home, but will make myself available for bedtime care and morning care.

I would like to know, and think it is important to know, about any allergies your pet may have (food, medication, etc.). Is your pet taking any necessary medications I should know about and may need to administer? I would also like to know if your pet has any personality characteristics that are of note -- are they fearful around certain people, or of certain objects/noises? It may also be helpful to know contact information for their local vet/pet ER, in the event of an emergency. I don't necessarily have any breed preferences, but I have worked with Shih Tzus, Pit Bulls, Yorkshire Terriers, Cairn Terriers, and Samoyeds.
A typical day
Where does your dog like to go? We can go around the block, to the nearby park, in the backyard for a little fetch. I'm open to suggestions! I'm also open to playtime at home or snuggles if your fur-baby likes to be close!

Availability
I work full-time Monday through Friday, although my schedule varies depending upon the day. My specific current availability is as follows: Monday (before 9a and after 6p), Tuesday (before 10a and after 7p), Wednesday (before 10a and after 6p), Thursday (after 3p), Friday (after 1p), and weekends (anytime!). I offer dog-walking and drop-in visits during the week, and also offer the same services in addition to overnight visits on the weekends. I have plenty of flexibility to prioritize your fur-babies!
