As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I am highly passionate about animal care. Equipped with 8 years of hands-on experience in the different avenues of veterinary and animal care, I can confidently and adequately care for your pet(s). My skill set includes administering oral (pills and tablets), topical (flea and tick prevention) or subcutaneous medications (ie. Insulin injections), behaviour modification, nutrition recommendations, nail trims, basic grooming (brushing and bathing), emergency CPR, replacing, cleaning and/or bandaging wounds, and many more! I am a dependable and hardworking individual who cherishes all interactions with animals; my day is not complete if I have not interacted with an animal on some level. Helps us out with our dog all the time. Highly recommend. Knows her stuff. We go to her for veterinary advice and has taught us a lot about basic health.
Our dog Ella was bit by a tick a couple months ago. First thing we did was message Jenna. Jenna came over and was able to properly remove the tick from her skin and treat the bit area. She seemed very knowledge and professional through the whole thing and we are very happy we messaged her.
I worked with Jenna at Collingwood veterinary services while she was there working I learned a lot from her about animal care. Jenna is great with people and even more so with Animals. I would highly recommend her for the care of anyone's fur babies as that's is exactly how they are treated... As an extension of the family as they should be treated.
I have attended Veterinary Technology classes with & have worked alongside Jenna in Veterinary environments in the recent past - I can say that Jenna is a very intelligent, attentive & highly compassionate animal caretaker. We would often pet sit for one another during our time living in the same city, & I have always been more than pleased with the quality of my elderly dog's care; including the medication administration & specific feeding schedule my dog required, as well as the copious amounts of snuggles & love Jenna gave her. I would more than highly recommend Jenna to anyone for their pets' care, I'm confident that you will love her & your pets will too!

I would prefer to know who I am working with before sitting him or her. That way I can gauge how the pet may act towards me. I like to be informed of any red flags before working with a client. For example, areas the pet does not like to be touched, if a pet is food aggressive or aggressive towards other animals, etc. I do not have any breed preferences! All pets I encounter receive the same about of respect and care.
A typical day
I prefer to take pets to an area where they have a little freedom to roam and explore. A nicely wooded trail is my first choice of exercise. However, I am flexible and will respect an owner's instructions and wishes, as well as what the pet is comfortable with.
