Turning Passion into a Side Gig
Pet care experience
I’m currently spreading love as a foster parent with “Shelter to Home” animal rescue, giving shelter and snuggles to animals in need. I’ve been surrounded by furry goodness my whole life, being a proud owner of both cats and dogs. In my teenage years, I was the go-to dog sitter/walker for my friends’ little troublemakers. Now, as a full-time social worker with a heart full of love for animals and a passion for staying active, I’m on the lookout for a nice little side gig to help navigate this pricey world we live in. Dog walking sounds like the perfect combo of fun, fitness, and furry companionship!

In all sincerity, Jenna is one of the most responsible, loving, caring, thoughtful and compassionate people I’ve ever known! Since her high school days, she’s taken care of our family dogs for both daytime breaks and extended overnight stays. She is always on time, focuses intently on our dogs and her level of care is OUTSTANDING! You’ll watch (and feel!) your animal(s) connect with her. When she was much younger, a neighbor’s dog got out of its yard. As we all pitched in, driving around, calling to find him, Jenna stayed back and instinctually LISTENED. She then walked, following the sound of neighborhood barking, knowing he must’ve passed by to make them bark, in succession. Sure enough…she turned a corner and there he was! Of course, when she called him, he came right to her calm, loving energy. We were amazed! You and your beloved family pet(s) will love Jenna. 15/10 would recommend her!
Jenna is a foster home for Shelter to Home Rescue. She is extremely attentive to the needs of her foster animals and I believe that she'd give the same level of care to her clients. Great foster homes are very hard to come by these days, and we are very lucky to have her.
