Pet care experience
Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to guinea pigs, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society. My partner, Martha, and I recently adopted a dog ourselves last year and he adjusts to all dogs he meets to play at their comfort level. My partner is at home all day with him and is available when I am not, so there will always be someone in the house for your pups! Alongside Martha, our Sphynx cat, Mumm, will more than happily greet dogs and play with them as well (when he is not sleeping). Check out some pictures of Mumm in our profile's photos. We love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and are more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let us know! I am currently finishing up my Master's program to become a teacher for learners with visual impairments, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind.

Where do I start? Jenna was awesome!! We did a meet and greet with her dog Leo at the park and that went very well. Jenna loves animals and is a very friendly, competent and accomplished young woman. I was a little concerned about leaving Lindy at first because her dog Leo has a house mate....a cat. I wasn't sure how this would go over with Lindy, but on first meeting they looked at each other with a bit of wonder, but a couple of days into the visit Jenna sent me a picture of the three of them sleeping together. Jenna was very prompt to respond to texts and sent pictures everyday. The bottom line is Jenna was the best dog sitter I have encountered using Rover.Com. I will definitely be back.
Another FABULOUS visit with Jenna, Martha, and Leo! They were so flexible when our car broke down and our weekend trip was unexpectedly extended, and Blaze never wanted to come home he had such a great time!
Jenna was AMAZING!! Hikes, a visit to a farm, etc. etc. - Blaze was VERY VERY well taken care! I got tons of pictures and videos while I was gone, and Blaze loved spending time with their dog and cat. I will definitely always choose Jenna first!
Valentine’s stay with Jenna was an experience that I personally will not forget my dog 1 year old got hit by a car week before my vacation I was so confused and in disbelief I found Jenna on Rover.com i couldn’t be any happier for Valentine when I met her all my stress was like melting away with all the ease, comfortable loving care Val got from Jenna ( she will be to lady now for Val ... I would highly recommend her she’s really the best person to take care of your dogs while you’re in town or away on a long far vacation worry free environment ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you ?

We love all types and personalities! Just give us a heads up for anything to watch out for (toy aggression, etc.) If your dog has mobility issues, please know that we live on the third floor of an apartment! Please make sure that your dog is up to date on vaccinations, and let us know if there are any medical concerns that we should be aware of and should look out for.
A typical day
We frequently take walks on the Rock Creek Trail right beside our house, or we go to Hondo dog park. Now that the weather is nice, we also hike frequently at Thousand Acres and Powell Butte (to name a few!) We are more than welcome to adapt to your dog's fitness levels and preferences, and have been known to hike up to 12 miles in a day to tucker out even the energetic of pups (see photos above for proof!) For dogs that are mainly snuggle buddies, we will happily spend our time lounging about with them to make them feel most at home. Our dog, Leo, adapts to his friends and will cuddle, play tug-o-war, wrestle, and race depending on what your dog initiates -- he is just happy to have company.
