I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Pet care experience

I moved to Oregon in October, 2020. I love nature and animals. I will give your dog all the love, attention, and belly rubs they want. I'm very flexible, if you have any special requests for your dog, I can be accommodating. All types of dogs are welcome. You will be inviting me to care for a member of your family, and give the utmost care and attention to your dog. I intend to be a trusted caregiver and friend to your dog. So reach out to me and let’s plan a meet and greet! I’m happy to devote time to caring for dogs. I don’t have many distractions and I live in a very peaceful environment. I am available to your pets if they need extra attention and love. I have lots of free time to spend giving personal attention to your pet. I can take them for longer walks, if needed. I will try my best to make them comfortable and put them at ease.

Hate to be harsh, but this wasn’t a perfect experience. Late for the meet and greet. 20 mins after we dropped off our pup, she messaged and said our dog was crying (as expected) said she didn’t know if our booking would work. 20 mins after she said he stopped. Very amateur behavior. At the drop off we were assured we would get update, 24 hours later and many text messages from me she finally replied to me asking for an update. I had to contact Rover over this. She said then after the hassle and hours of worry this girl lost our dog, that she would send pics. Pics came 4 hours before pick up the next day. Terrible and u professional. I’m not sure how this girl has any positive reviews I wish I wouldn’t have booked her, and because of her we won’t use Rover anymore because they obviously are not checking their boarding sitters thoroughly. She never showed us her apartment so we could see where our dog would be staying and I regret after her not replying for an update. We literally thought she had lost her dog because she wasn’t replying TERRIBLE

Jana was communicative and seemed good with our elderly standard poodle.

This is my first Rover experience that didn't go very well. TLdr: Jenna accepted a short notice dog boarding where the dropoff and pickup times didn't work for her (I would have use a different dog boarder who was available, just more expensive), and was very low communication trying to schedule the dropoff to her liking. I had to delay my trip by a few hours and it was very stressful because I didn't know if I would actually be able to use her as a dog boarder until the very moment I dropped my dog off. I booked the day before I left for a 10am drop off and an 8pm pickup a few days later. I reached out to a few folks for boarding so that I had options and a couple of people had availability, including Jenna. Jenna's location and price were the most convenient for me, so I booked with her in the afternoon. However, after booking at 9pm the night before, Jenna asked me about drop off times. I responded about an hour later that I was planning on 10am, per the booking. I didn't hear from her, so I tried to confirm the 10am drop off the following morning. I didn't get a message until 9:49am with the message "12:30? I'm" (and no further context) I asked if she could do earlier, I was planning to leave town and didn't hear back. After rescheduling and doing some coordination for my trip, I sent another message closer to 11, asking her to confirm that 12:30 would work. I didn't hear back until 12, when Jenna told me that 12:30 would work. I loaded up my car with my family including my 4 year old and gave her a heads up that we were on our way. When I arrived at 12:30, we let her know we were there. Jenna asked me to meet her by the garage of her apartment building. At this point it was raining, but since we had a time she picked, I assumed she would be down when she said she would. She didn't show up until 12:45, and wasn't communicative once I let her know I was there (except a message 10 minutes after I arrived letting me know she'd be right down). Scheduling pickup was less stressful, but Jenna asked for an earlier pickup than was in the booking. (7:30 instead of 8) We had to push it back until 8:30 because Jenna wasn't available, and she took 10 minutes to come down after I arrived despite picking the time.

Jenna was super professional when we met up. Kirin warmed up to her instantly and Jenna gave updates when she could. Will definitely go back to her to watch Kirin in the future!! Highly recommend her.

Information Jenna B. would like to know about your pet

If your dog is strong and pulls a lot, this will not be a good fit. I am only prepared to handle dogs that are easy on walks. If your dog is loud, and barks and whines a lot, this is not a good fit. I need dogs that are quiet. If your dog has issues with aggression they may not be a good fit, as I don’t have experience handling aggressive or reactive dogs. I love gentle dogs. If your dog gets anxious and chews on things, then a crate is necessary. If they are prone to accidents, please inform me, have them walked first, and bring pads. If your dog has recent diarrhea issues, please do not book with me. I am not set up to clean up those kinds of messes. I want to keep my space nice.

A typical day

I spend lots of close time with the dogs. I stay home a lot. I have grassy spots outside I can take them to. I try to make a comfy little area for them to sleep, if the owner doesn’t bring a crate.
