Pet care experience
With two kids (4 & 2), two dogs (11 & 2), two cats (12 & 7) a fish (3y) there is more love to go around than you can imagine! Our kids have grown up with cats & dogs and will love your animal(s) like they’ve been friends their whole lives! Due to continuously adding fur children or human children to our family, our cats have learned to love all furry friends, dogs or cats, and as for our two GSDs… well they were just born that way! Let us care for your fur babies as if they are one of our own while you rest easy knowing they are being very well loved and cared for. Our house is filled with endless giggles and energy but then very calm and quiet as soon as the energy runs out, usually just in time for our once daily nap/rest time (usually prime time for me to get some snuggles in!) So, why do I pet sit? My husband said no more pets until we get some land, so this is our little compromise & the kids LOVE it. Plus, it’s fun to meet new people and hang with animals!

I have a fenced yard and two wonderful loving GSD’s that would love it to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog and will be sure to keep to your current routine as closely as possible. I have two young children and understand the need and desire for others to follow my care ( & training in these circumstances) routine as closely as possible. I know from training our two dogs that routine and consistency are key for training and comfort.

A typical day
A typical day in the life of a pet at the Abney house includes long walks around the neighborhood sometimes spending some extra time playing fetch in a nearby field and or watching and playing with the tiny humans at Hayden Park nearby. Sometimes we even venture out to the dog park in the canyon or hope park where we can walk trails or go on a run! We also love to wear pups out with mental stimulation learning new tricks for treats!

Availability
I am currently home full time which allows me to give your fur baby as much attention and care as they want/need, making it so your pets routine and schedule doesn't have to change. Strict schedules, set meal times and/or admistering medicine at certain times are no problem here. I will care for them with as much love and attention as my own fur babies! 1
