I was trained by personal experience growing up with 3 dogs at a time as well as the humane society & PetSmart on how to care for the grooming needs of individual dogs, and their energy levels. I am available most days but Wednesday nights currently; which will change once I put my two weeks in at the hospital. While at PetSmart I assisted the trainer during classes & I also have trained my own dogs since high school how to do tricks, as well as introductions, potty, leash & kennel. I believe in positive reinforcement over punishment. I also love to be outdoors. I love parks and hiking; the dogs I’ve cared for in the past always had a blast! I carry collapsible water bowls to keep them hydrated as well as treats to work on training in an alternate environment with a lot of distraction. Then I brush them out and I always check for ticks. I also bathe them if necessary.
