Pet care experience
I have owned a zoo's worth of pets since I was a child, including rodents, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, turtles and lizards. I currently own two cats (who are super spoiled) and I'm well-versed in kitten and puppy care. I've also done basic puppy/dog training for friends and family, pet and house-sat for neighbours and friends and I volunteered at animal shelter for four years through my undergraduate degree. I work remotely, which means I have a very flexible schedule for drop-ins, dog walking and house sitting! As long as I have access to WiFi (for longer stays), I have everything I need! It's very important to me that pet owner's instructions are followed to the letter; as a pet owner myself, I understand that trust in a pet sitter comes from knowing that your rules will be followed.

Jenn was absolutely incredible with Riley! She gave us great updates regularly and Riley seemed so calm and relaxed!! We came back to a clean house and Riley was his usual self. We did sent a list of instructions to Jenn and these were followed to the letter without fail. If you need someone to look after your dog, look no further as Jenn is great!!
Jenn is nothing short of amazing when it comes to looking after our two mini dachshunds. She keeps them safe, happy, and healthy whilst also ensuring our house remains secure. When we returned from a 12 day trip, the pups were both content and the house looked even cleaner than when we had left! Would recommend Jenn to all other Rover customers. I'm pretty good at getting cats and dogs to take oral medication (I have lots of tricks!) - injections are more challenging but I do feel comfortable doing them on dogs; please let me know ASAP if your pet's need medication! I'd also like to know if they display major guarding or territorial behaviours, and if they are dog-aggressive (do they lunge at other dogs during walks?).
A typical day
I love making sure dogs are mentally stimulated as well as being exercised! A lot of basic behavioural problems come from intelligent breeds not being challenged, and I have so much fun setting up treat hunts and puzzles. I particularly love Ludwell Valley Park for walks - there's so much space, as well as a variety of environments for a dog to explore (woodland, fields, hills).
