Pet care experience
I am certified in canine and feline CPR & First Aid. I have had pets (small dogs, rabbits) since a young child, volunteered every weekend at ASPCA age 12-15, and continue to be lead caregiver (meds, grooming, etc) for all my animals (all sized dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, snails!). I have fostered, rescued, adopted older dogs for decades to give them end of life comfort and love. I'm very active, love being outdoors in all weather, and am available on short/same day notice for walking and check ins.

Finnick LOVES Jenn! He always rolls over, belly-up. He trusts her, which makes me very happy. Finnick needed some extra care during a visit and Jenn easily took care of his needs. I highly recommend Jenn 😊

I follow directions well. Just let me know what you need and desire for you pet! I prefer to visit your home. However, because I have chickens and cats, I would need to determine how your pet would react before being allowed off-leash in my completely fenced-in downtown triple lot yard.

Things I like to know: age, activity level, gets along with other dogs or cats, medicated against ticks, how do they react when cars drive by, do they try to bolt out the door, basic commands known, etc...
A typical day
In my home, we will rest and relax with gentle play. Outside in the yard, we will play boisterously. On walks, the dog sets the pace or lots of sniffing stops; I'm in control, but their desires will be catered to ♥️

Availability
I consider myself nearly retired after working 33 yrs in medicine. Rising early for the day, I start with care for my flock, then care for my dogs, cats, and snails. I walk my dogs twice a day and give loves, pets and upbeat conversation and snuggles the rest of the day.
