Pet care experience
Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I used to be a Rover client but sadly lost my best friend a few years ago. My heart is not ready to go through something like that again, but I still really enjoy being around my all my friends’ dogs. So I thought working for Rover this time around might be the perfect solution.

Jenisteen was an absolute godsend! She stayed at our house over the Christmas holidays with our large dog and cat and treated both as if they were her own! She was also very flexible since our vacation coincided with a freeze and Southwest Airlines flight cancellations. She was a terrific communicator—met both animals (2 separate visits), asked all the pertinent questions and sent texts/photos and videos throughout her stay. She even gave the pets Christmas presents! I wholeheartedly highly recommend Jenisteen if you want peace of mind while away from your pets!

Pls let me know if your dog has any anxiety issues with pets or people. It’s not a deal breaker, it just allows me to adjust accordingly to make sure we avoid stressful situations for them.
A typical day
I live near the galleria, which is very walkable. If you live in the same area I’d be happy to take them for a walk along the waterwall. And if your dog is a couch potato and just wants someone to watch TV and cuddle with them I’m cool with that too.

Availability
I used to have a Great Dane that I rescued when she was two years old and I lost her at the age of 11. During that time, she went everywhere with me enjoying patio dining and people watching. I even trained her to get certified as a pet therapy dog so that we would have something special we could do together. We volunteered at Methodist Hospital where she would help patients with physical, cognitive and speech therapies.
