Hi there my name is Jeniffer and I am a young professional in the RDU area! I have grown up with pets my whole life as well as strongly considered veterinary medicine in high school and completed a internship with a local clinic. My childhood dogs were 2 larger boxers who were reactive so I am very comfortable with any behavior issues as well as walking large Dogs. I currently have a 15 year old dog and a special needs cat that have furthered my breath of knowledge. I am comfortable both caring for dogs who have transitioned to limited mobility as well as giving any oral medications. My cat does have epilepsy so I am also comfortable and familiar with any pets who may experience seizures. I have a flexible schedule and an commuter to making sure you pets feel safe and loved while you’re away! My babies loved Jennifer and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat. Very good with communication. She got lock out of my place at one point (no fault of her own) and was quick to communicate to help get the problem resolved.
Jeniffer has watched my dog multiple times while I have been out of town. She was able to accommodate me last minute and always loved and cared for my pets, while following any instruction I left for her. I would recommend her to anybody!

I have a small yard that is fenced in if you choose to board as well as a baby gate for my living room to separate if necessary from my dog or any other reason it may be needed. I do not leave food unattended for safety and my cats food is always out of any dogs reach. For walks I do prefer to use a harness but will work with whatever gear you may have! I always make sure to be vigilant of any dogs or people who may be near and switch sides if there is somebody approaching on the sidewalk no matter if your dog is friendly or not (we can never gaurentee others behavior).

Important things I would like to know about your pet could include anything you find important. What I typically like to be informed on is - how they walk and act around other people and dogs ( judgement free zone but it better helps me prepare ❤️) - If they like being touched/pet and if there are areas I should avoid. -Any relevant medical history or current illnesses. This would include if they have any medication. - favorite toys and activities. - any commands they may know. - if they have any specific things they have strong reactions too. Any specific behaviors I may observe.
A typical day
I plan on stimulating your dog based on your instruction and their personality! You know your dog best so I will take that in consideration with what they are like with me to both physically and mentally exercise them. This can range from walks to fetch to playing hide and seek or giving them a lick Mat.

Availability
I work hybrid and am typically in the office 3 days a week. I usually do not stay the full days and am able to drop in for lunch, before work, after etc all depending on what you are needing. If I am working remotely for the day I am also able to work part of the day from your home if you would like to spend some time with your pets!
