We are a dog loving family; 2 adults and 2 kids ( girls 13 & 15) at home (4 older kids outside the home) In 2018 we began fostering rescues through One Tail at a Time. We had some concern we might "fail" but it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. We get to love on the dog, learn more about them and help find him or her the best forever home (16 so far) Transports paused when COVID hit, and our first pandemic foster, Jethro, stole our hearts! We often watch the dogs of our families and friends, and Jethro loves it when his friends come over! 3/4 of the household is out the door by 7 am during the week. I am working from home so we have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and exercise throughout the day. The teenagers are home by 2 and love being welcomed home by wagging tails! Because we foster, We have plenty of gates and crates of all sizes. The dogs will pretty much have free reign during the day. Our dog sleeps in his crate at night (even though we would let him sleep in our bed) so whatever your dogs routine, we will accommodate. I am working from home so I am present for all your dogs needs! We take plenty of breaks to run around outside and play, and plenty of nap breaks too! I have a fenced in yard, plenty of toys and an active Aussie mix to keep your dog company, can crate your dog if needed
