Pet care experience
I work from home, have a dog, no kids, fenced in yard next to sloans lake! Exercise and love will come with your stay. I've taken care of dogs throughout my life and got my own dog from a puppy and he's now 2 years old. We've (the dog and me) spent a lot of time at dog parks and training centers - so training and monitoring dog behavior is a big focus of mine. Ernie is crate trained in our house and I am happy to help with training that if you’d like as well. Ernie and I go on many loose leash walks and runs together and my dog (Ernie) is very well socialized and very friendly. We live 2 houses from sloan's lake, so we go on walks there throughout the day! We can send you pictures as well and the doggies play in the backyard (fenced in!) Very comfortable with grooming - baths, haircuts, nail filing - and can do that for an additional fee and based on your baby's comfort level with me. I find it's best to form a bond first before doing that.

Jenica was an excellent sitter for our dog. She had great communication leading up to and through out the entire sitting. She kept our dog very active during the stay. I’d recommend Jenica for any dog sitting needs!
Jenica and Ernie are the perfect team to watch your pet. She takes incredible care of her own dog (Ernie) and you know immediately your pet is in good hands. Ernie is very friendly and well behaved so your pet has a new human friend as well as a new dog friend in a lovely home with a yard. As someone who utilized Jenica for a family emergency she was more than willing to work/talk through schedules and conflicts etc. She is very communicative and active in the care of your pet. I would recommend her to every one on this app. My Wally had the best time with them. I plan on using her services again in the fututre. If I did not make myself clear let me reiterate, they are the best!
Jenica was absolutely wonderful! My pup Nala was very well cared for, and Jen was responsive and understanding in terms of maintaining Nala's routine with her diet, walks/runs, and dog park trips. I appreciate her caring demeanor and quick responses to my texts as well. Highly recommend!

I do work from home so focus on taking many breaks to exercise the dogs so that they sleep while I work. The dogs will have free roaming over a portion of our house. I do keep doors closed of the rooms they are not allowed to go in. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and I will be monitoring your pet while they are in the home. But alas, I know that's not everyone's policy, so I do cover the furniture with paw blankets just in case. I prefer dogs to be in crates overnight, but do have some beds that they can use. My dog will be crated in my room overnight and we have a separate room nearby where we will put your dog. We can easily separate food if that's required.

A typical day
Walk around sloans lake in the morning, then breakfast, then likely they take a nap and then Ernie and your dog will play fetch in the backyard.

I work from home and take my own dog on a run in the morning, a mid-day walk and an evening run/walk (depending on his energy - ha!). I also have a fenced-in backyard where sometimes we play fetch or have a mid-day training session.
