Simply said, we are dog people, and I think you and your dog will feel it. I grew up with a black Lab who ended up with diabetes and needed twice daily shots of insulin, so I am comfortable with administering this kind of medication. Our current furry family member is a mellow, friendly older pug named Louie, whom we adopted as a rescue about 10 years back. We have a teenage daughter who loves all animals and dogs are invited to join us on the couch or bed. My husband is retired so your pup is ensured to have human company much of the time. We also have a dog door in the event your dog knows how to use one, which provides access to a smaller side of our fenced backyard.. We look forward to loving your dog as if s/he were our own for the time we host him/her! Please note we require a "meet and greet" prior to you leaving your dog with us to ensure it is a good fit. We are also open to hosting larger dogs - they just need to be super friendly with Louis. :-)
