I can also help with chickens, horses, guinea pigs, rats, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, snakes, tarantulas, etc. Those rates are different for those animals, message me and we can figure something out. ***ON GOING SPECIAL FOR CLIENTS NEW TO ROVER*** Whether you are going out of town or work extra hours, I can help you with caring for your furry family members. It can be stressful and scary, but rest assured, I am here to make it easy. I am experienced in dog sitting, grooming, and behavior training and have a flexible schedule to work with your needs. I am good with all dogs: puppy, adult dogs, or senior pups, and even special needs; I will make sure they are well taken care of and waggin' tail happy! I’ve had dogs and cats all my life, over 40 years of experience! Also have experience with a variety of other creatures. I love all animals. Typical schedule: Get the dogs up Feed them Go on a walk to go to the bathroom Play in the backyard, maybe some fetch Go over skills such as sit, lay down, stay, etc. Feed the dogs dinner Go on another walk to go to the bathroom and/or play outside I try to keep their routine as close to the routine you have for them. Jeni, did a great job with our fur babies. This was our first time engaging with her. From the moment she came into the house bot of our dogs greeted her like she was a long lost friend. When we hired her, on the 2nd say she sent photos of petting one of our cats. Our cats are normally shy around everybody and take about 4 days to be comfortable with any house guest we have had in the past. That fact that she could pet them after just one day goes miles ahead in her fur baby friendly energy. Cheers!
Jeni was so excellent taking care of our 2 boys! One of our guys is particularly finicky about eating but needs to to get his medicine and Jeni did a great job of making him comfortable. She kept us updated nightly and sent pictures. We will definitely book Jeni the next time we go out of town.
This is the second time we have used Jeni for our house and pet sitting needs and she continues to be wonderful! She sends pictures of our pups throughout the day and updates. We can tell she loves our dogs and they love her which makes traveling much easier and less stressful knowing our pups and home are being well cared for.
Jeni was so awesome with my kitty! Never had to worry when I was away!

I like to ask clients what they need and expect of me. I will only watch your pets in your home. I do not offer boarding. Some animals have high anxiety or different behaviors can be displayed in space new to them. I think it’s much easier, and better, to keep pets in an environment that they are most comfortable in. I also have 2 children (13 & 15) that will sometimes come with me to the home, if dogs/cats are friendly, and families allow. This can also provide a distraction and a bit of added fun. My son likes to shadow and learn from me as he starts to take on small housesitting jobs of his own.

Is there anything that might scare your dog? Thunder, loud noises, big dogs, etc? Are they outgoing, super playful, hyper? How do they do around children, other pets? Any special treats that you give them? Do they have a favorite toy or activity? Tell me everything you can think of, I want to be the best care taker for your little, furry family member!
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood or to a local park. Playing fetch can be fun, or even try to learn fetch, is always fun. Belly rubs too!

Availability
I am administration at a school and have plenty of holidays, or breaks, to allow me to help other families when out of town. I have flexibility to work from home as well. Most of the time I run my schedule as you would your household, leaving for appointments, grocery shopping, etc.
