I had a dog name Brusier , we rescued from hurricane Katrina . Brusier was from the canine family . We kept him at my house in another parish . Part of my home was fenced . He stayed outside sometime and inside some. Brusier , like walking on the lover and going to the park. He was o. K. Around people . Where I live now is fenced in and patio ,where the dogs can sit and roam around freely. Also it is gated , so he or she can not get out . If it is hot , you can always put a doggy pad , on the floor real fluffy and comfortabefor the pet to live on .i also have cemet side walks for a nice hot stroll , where it is safe , and distance from the road .
