Pet care experience
Fully fenced yard, walkable neighborhood, and nearby off leash trails await! I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life and understand that each dog’s character and needs are unique. Whatever is best for your dog, I will do my best to provide. My cattle dog passed away in 2021 and while not yet ready for another full-time dog, I cannot wait to love and care for yours. I am fully dedicated to Rover and my partner works primarily from home so there will be no shortage of attention, love, walks, playtime, cuddling, potty breaks, and adventure. I had great experiences using Rover in the past and want you to feel the same. I look forward to meeting you and your pup.

Once again Giorgi had a wonderful 10 day stay with Janessa. She updated me daily with pictures and info about walks, eating and sleeping habits. During the hot summer days Janessa made sure Giorgi stayed cool with plenty of water hose play, shady trees, and air conditioning. Giorgi was very calm and happy when she returned home.
Janessa was the greatest dogsitter a person or dog could ask for. Our dog, Luna, stayed at Janessa’s place for a week and throughout the entire stay we felt Luna was having the time of her life. Janessa was extremely thoughtful about caring for Luna’s needs and sent frequent updates with photos and descriptions of their latest activities. Bonus is that Janessa takes amazing photos so we have professional-looking shots of Luna now! 5 stars does not seem high enough of a rating for Janessa — she exceeds all expectations!

Our house has a few steps to get in and out. We have mostly hardwood floors with some area rugs. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking. I also have a car so can easily drive to nearby trails. I typically only board one dog at a time, but will consider multiple dogs from the same household.

I love being active as well as spending time at home so can focus activities around your dog’s personality and needs. If you are working on training, I will reinforce according to your direction. I will engage your dog’s curiosity for those breeds needing a lot of mental stimulation and offer patience and a calm slow pace for quieter, timid, or older dogs.
