Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Jenaya, and I have been an adoring animal lover for as long as I can remember. Over my lifetime, my family and I have cared for numerous pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and the cutest little hedgehog named Mr. Tiggy Winkles. I currently have one black cat, and she brings sunshine into my life every day. I understand the worry and stress that can come with entrusting your pet to a stranger's care, so I do my very best to ensure that your pets receive only the finest care and services. I have considerable experience house-sitting, pet-sitting, and dog-walking. In addition to this, I have taken several veterinary technology courses and have worked as a veterinary assistant at two different local veterinary clinics, where I gained experience in interpreting animal body language and compassionately handling dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. I am careful to follow detailed instructions and refuse to cut corners around your animals' care. I have been around pets my whole life and am not afraid to be firm if need be. That being said, I am gentle and warm at heart and desire nothing more than to cover your fur babies with love! It would be my absolute pleasure to work with you and your pets. 😊

Jenaya is an excellent pet sitter. I came home to a cleaner home than I left, with happy pets! Reliable, responsive, very responsible and asked EXCELLENT questions and gave suggestions throughout. Highly recommend her and her excellent pet sitting!!
5+ STARS. Jenaya (and her support team) did an outstanding job of taking care of our goldador and home for 4 weeks while we were out of town. We received almost daily updates and photos. When we returned we found a happy, healthy dog and an immaculate house. Jenaya had even washed and folded her bedding, picked up storm debris in our yard, and refilled the humming birds feeders. She is very conscientious and gave our dog lots of TLC while staying with her almost all day every day. Highly recommend!
Jenaya is truly incredible with our reactive senior pup, Olive. We have been skeptical about warming a sitter up to her but with Jenaya it was so easy. Olive requires many medications and Jenaya is super comfortable with that. The whole experience put our mind at ease; from Jenaya’s excellent communication to her sweet nature with our needy pups. We will definitely be booking her in the future!

I like to allow for plenty of time when meeting and getting to know your pet so that they can discover, in their own time and way, that I am not a threat. I believe the foundation for providing excellent in-home pet care is establishing trust and connection with your pet so that they can feel as comfortable as possible while their humans are away.

A typical day
I love letting animals be animals and believe that animals deserve to experience the world in a way that makes sense to them. I look forward to running around and playing games with your dog in the yard- or taking it slow and steady for senior dogs. They will enjoy smelling all the smells and exploring all the corners of their world during our daily walks. If you are a cat parent, I look forward to getting to know your cat’s personality and what makes them tick, whether that be gentle pets, laser tag, or some alone time.
