Hello, I am Jena! I am a responsible, communicative, easy-going, attentive, and caring young working professional with 12+ years experience in pet care, sitting, and walking. I currently have 8-10 regular pets I watch in the UES, as well as 3-8 regular dogs I walk weekly. I have grown up with pets all my life, and genuinely love animals! I am happy to watch your pet while you are out of the city, or in need of vacation. I want to ensure that your pet is in good hands, and I always send photo updates and check-ins to put you at ease (as I know how it feels to be away from them, and worried!) I love ALL pets, and will make sure to give your pet the love, devotion of care, attention, and affection he/she deserves. Pets always warm up to me very quickly, but also will be very patient with them taking their time in getting comfortable with me. I love to go on runs or walks with dogs, get lots of time outdoors, and can also promise lots of good petting + affection time to make your dog/cat feels extra loved.

This was the first time I've used Rover and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Jena was amazing, extremely communicative and made me feel comfortable immediately. She was great with my dog and sent a cute photo during their walk. My pup can't wait to see her again!
Jena was great with Brooklyn. She made the time to meet us before the scheduled dog walk and was very responsive and communicative before, during and after the walk.
Jena did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. We couldn’t be more pleased and would definitely hire her the next time we go away! Our boys loved her!
Jenna stayed with Maisy for two nights while I was away at a wedding. Maisy was well taken care of and Jena was able to also provide her liquid medication with each meal. Jena also does frequent drop in visits for Maisy and is extremely accommodating for last minute/late notice requests!

A typical day
Living a few blocks away from Central Park, I frequent often (3-5 times a week) and would happily walk them there, as well as local dog parks in the area. I love walking around neighborhoods as well. I can ensure lots of play time, fetch, cuddles and petting, time outdoors.
